Glyn Edwards has lived all his life in Rothwell. He went to Rothwell Grammar School and started work at Water Haigh in 1956 as an apprentice surveyor. He spent 10 years at the pit before moving on to Waterloo Colliery. Here he describes his job and what it was work like workling underground.
